Fernando Soberon PhD. Founder/President
Fernando is a native of Mexico, where he earned an Animal Science degree before attending Cornell University where he earned a master’s degree and a PhD in Ruminant Management and Nutrition. Fernando has worked in New York since 2012, consulting farms on matters of animal management, housing, nutrition and strategic growth. He has experience in human resource management and training for agricultural service industries.
Melanie Soberon PhD.

Melanie grew up in western Wisconsin on a sheep farm, where she was responsible for animal management on an intensive rotational grazing system. She attended UW-Madison where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Business emphasis. She studied Sheep Nutrition at Cornell University where she earned a master’s degree and then a PhD in ruminant nutrition. Melanie is a part-time lecturer at Cornell where she teaches a class in sustainable animal husbandry.
